I was sorta teary eyed when I wrote the tribute below, I type 100 wpm and got carried away, I meant to say that "I remember seeing Nancy ride a two-wheeled bike for the first time", and I also meant at the end "Nancy touched so many lives in so many ways, it is unthinkable to imagine life without her."

This is so freakin hard to try to process, my brain crashed and I had to reboot....life without Nancy..........I still do not believe that she left us, but she is suffering no more! Her new body, in her new life with Father God is just what Nancy deserved. There will always be a void in my life that cannot be filled..............I have no idea how to tell her farewell tomorrow.........but, if we live by God's word, we will all have a reunion in heaven so we will see our beloved Nancy again!

....I remember seeing Nancy ride a two-wheeled bike for the fist time, she crashed and burned on the runway, but she got back up on that bike and rode it home without fail! That was the indomitable spirit she had, undaunted and undented! She carried this determination thruout her life. Always happy, upbeat & willing to help, no matter what the circumstance be.....Nancy was always there!

....I remember when Nancy got her driver's license and her first car! She was so proud, she worked and bought it and maintained it herself. She was like a kid in a candy store when she took me for a ride in it! We had such fun! Thank you Jesus for allowing me to spend time with Nancy!

....She and my sister were inseperable! You hardly ever saw one without the other all thru elementary school, then thru junior and senior high. I remember how Pam helped both she and Carla prepare for Eastmoor's Prom. I took so many pictures that they got ticked at me but I didn't care! I watched Nancy, Carla, Valerie, Fazanta, Ivy, Lynn & Valerie, Toya Griffin, all become beautiful young ladies right before my eyes!

....This is one of the hardest things I have ever had to do in life.....tell my good friend farewell, not ever seeing her vibrant smile,hearing her infectious laughter, and never ever again witnessing  her unyeilding strength. She fought a courageous battle and I know God has said: "well done my good and faithful servant!"  Nancy touched so many lives in so many ways, it is unthinkable to image life without her........"someday...we'll be together again......."

My heart is broken, my friend is gone. My prayers are with you Mr. & Mrs. Long, Stuart, Pam, Brenda, Richard...you all are like my family....we grew up/older together. I miss those carefree days don't you? Nancy was like a sister to me, she was always so upbeat. My heart is broken but she is with Father God.....and will suffer no more!

I worked with nancy on hamilton road office and west broad street, Nancy was very down to earth, and nice. we loved our cincinnati reds, and bengals. I will miss her, I know she is with jesus, in a better world. greg smith

25 years ago, I started working for the BMV and Nancy was my first supervisor.  She was awesome to work for.  From that time on, we became friends and remained close.  Nancy instantly became part of my family.  She was there when I had both my children.  She was so good with them.  We enjoyed holidays together.  We just enjoyed hanging out.  Before Nancy retired, I would sit at her desk on my lunch breaks just to chat with her or get inspirational advice if I was having a bad day.  She knew just what to say to me to make me feel better.  I miss those chats.  I miss our time together.  I miss my friend.  Suffer no more my friend.  God has an angel.  I love you.

I met Nancy in 1996 when I first started at the Ohio BMV.  From day one, she treated me like a good friend.  As her Team Lead from 2008 until her retirement in 2012, I had the pleasure of getting to know her even better.  She treated all her employees with respect and dignity.  On a personal level, we shared the love of our dogs, the Buckeyes, the Cincinnati Reds and Cincinnati Bengals. She encouraged me to start my own small side business and was one of my best customers, purchasing many of my Patio Paver Pals.  She will be missed.  My deepest sympathies to her husband and parents.
