Nancy Styers

Nancy Styers, age 74, entered into Heaven on February 1st, 2018 in the presence of her family. She was born in Circleville, Ohio on November 24, 1943 to her parents Rance and Delores Wolfe. Nancy grew up in Circleville, graduating from Circleville High School in 1962. Nancy met the love of her life Fred shortly after high school and they were married on October 15 1963. They spent 42 years of a wonderful marriage together. Nancy was the ultimate caregiver, and family was most important to her. Nancy also loved children, opening her home for years to neighborhood children as well as kids she babysat. Her home was always full of children’s laughter, and Nancy would not have had it any other way.

Nancy has joined in Heaven her parents; her husband Fred Styers Sr.; her grandson Justin Styers; her brother Dan; and her sisters Marjorie, Norma Jean, Joann and Ruth.

Left to mourn her passing are her children, Fred (Kim) Styers and Melissa (David) Styers; her grandchildren Tanner, Allie and Jay Styers; her sister Pat; her brothers Buddy, Dick, Jack and Pete; special niece Teri; special friend Linda Garrett; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Defenbaugh-Wise-Schoedinger Funeral Home, located at 151 East Main Street Circleville, on Sunday, February 4th from 2 to 5pm. Nancy’s funeral service will be held on Monday, February 5th at 11am with Pastor Michael Cottle officiating, with visitation an hour prior. Burial will follow at Forest Cemetery. Contributions may be made in Nancy’s honor to the Pickaway Senior Center, 2105 Chickasaw Drive Circleville, Ohio 43113.
