Nancy A. Sweeney

Nancy A. Sweeney, age 50 of Blacklick, passed away Saturday, September 24, 2011. Nancy was born and raised in Toledo, Ohio, daughter of Nicholas and Irene Hrivnak. Nancy was a very vivacious woman who always had a smile on her face. Nancy loved children and had previously worked with the St. Matthews Latchkey program. In addition to children, Nancy also loves animals, especially her own companions, Pebbles, Zoey, Lilly, and Princess. Nancy was a wonderful wife and mother to her family. She took great care of them always putting their needs above her own. She had a great sense of humor, was highly organized, and enjoyed traveling and running, but most of all, Nancy loved the time spent with her family. She will be greatly missed by her husband of 26 years, Dennis Sweeney; daughters, Lauren (Scott) Kuehner and Chelsea Sweeney; parents, Nicholas and Irene Hrivnak; brother, Thomas (Jaime) Hrivnak; nieces and nephews, Erin, Nicholas, and Jonathon Hrivnak; and many other extended family members and dear friends. Memorial Service will be held at 5 P.M. Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd., where family will receive friends from 12-2 P.M. and 4 P.M. until time of service Wednesday. Contributions may be made to the ASPCA, 520 8th Ave., 7th Floor, New York, NY 10018.
