Nancy Sue Ward

Nancy Sue Ward, 84, of Columbus, passed to Eternal Life with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Friday, January 8, 2016. She was born July 28, 1931 to the late Hugh and Violet (Kunzi) Allison. She was a graduate of South High in 1949. She enjoyed square dancing and traveling, especially her two trips to Alaska. She retired after 30 years from Friedman Hardwoods and was a member of Christ Presbyterian Church. She is preceded in death by her husband Paul E. Ward, sister Arlene Swentzel and infant son, David A. Jones. Nancy is survived by children Gary (Terri) Jones, Steve (Janet) Jones and Dan (Debby) Jones; step-children Linda (Rick) Soell, Nancy McPherson, David (Debbie) Ward and niece Sharon Jamison. Nancy also enjoyed all the family gatherings that included the company of her 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Family will receive friends Tuesday, January 12, 2016 from 10-11 AM at SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Rd. where a funeral service will be held at 11 AM. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to your favorite charity or Christ Presbyterian Church.
