Nancy E. Ward

Nancy E. Ward, age 73, of Obetz, passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at Mt. Carmel Medical Center with her family by her side. She was born June 22, 1942 in Columbus, Ohio, daughter of the late Peter and Genevieve (Syx) Call. She was a 1960 graduate of Hamilton Twp. High School. Nancy was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and will be dearly missed by her husband of 42 years, Ralph D. Ward Sr; her children, Ralph D. Jr (Babbie), Rhonda DeVault (Lance), Steven Ward (Tracy), Kim Hall (Brad), Ralph DeVault (Katie) and Debbie Monroe-Hamilton (John); her beloved 17 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Celia Call; three nieces; other relatives and many friends. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Michael Call. Her family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Mt. Carmel Palliative Care Unit and Dr. Thomas Brady for the loving care shown to Nancy these past few weeks.
