On November 29th, 2018 my most precious gift from God, my son Nathan, was taken back too soon. A piece of me died with him that day and my heart will never heal from the unbearable pain and loss. Our children are only on loan to us and we never know how long we have with them. Take time to appreciate, love and support them every minute you can. Nothing should be more important in your life.
Nathan was the most compassionate, kind, forgiving, loving, fun, and funny human being I have ever known. He worked hard to support his family and was the proudest Dad I know.
Nathan had the great gift of being comfortable in his own skin, he was an authentic human being and was loved by many. His friends speak so highly of him and it is wonderful to see how many lives he impacted and to know how much he will be missed. 
Nathan loved life and lived every day to its fullest. I am grateful for every moment I had with him and my heart is full with the memories of the times we spent together; teaching him to ride a bike, drive a car, kayaking, bike riding, hiking, going to the gym, teaching him to cook, fun filled vacations and the birth of his son. There is not a prouder moment for a mom then to see her son become a proud and loving father. My memories both warm my heart and cause it to ache. I cannot imagine a minute of my life when I will not miss him. 
My purpose now is to keep his memory alive for his son, my wonderful grandson, Luca; the love of his and my life. To spend time doing for and with Luca all things he wanted to do with him. Nathan and I had a special bond that can never be broken. I desperately long to hear his voice, see his smile and hear his laugh. 
Thank you for your support, posts and visits. I cannot express how much these memories and words mean to me.

I'm very sorry for your loss. I've heard many stories from Adam about his brother. In this tough time in your life, may friendship, sympathy and heartfelt condolences bring you comfort.

We can’t even imagine what you may be going through. We can only simply say we’re so sorry for your loss.Nathan will be deeply missed by our family as well. 
We remember well Nathan’s smile and laughter. He was such a polite and positive presence in our home over the years. We had so much fun traveling to Alaska. Though Aaron and I had been there numerous times, it was fun to watch through his eyes a new adventure unfold.  We will treasure this memory forever. 
How tragic for little Luca that he will not get to know his dad nor Nathan watch his son grow up. I am sure you will do your best to keep his memory alive for your’s and Luca’s sake. I believe Nathan will watch over his son as he grows up.

Lit a candle in memory of Nathan Gabriele Heinzman

Our sincerest condolences to Nate's family and loved ones.  Nate was like a part of our family for a number of years, we enjoyed spending time with him, and wished for him all the best in life.  Our heart aches to hear the news of his passing.  Such a bright light dimmed far too soon.  There are no words that can help with such a loss, but we pray that God can bring peace in comfort in the days ahead.
