Neil L. Grant

Neil L. Grant was born in Circleville, OH on August 10, 1945 to the late Harry and Katherine (Harris) Grant. He went to meet his Lord on Monday, October 8, 2018, at Grant Hospital - Columbus, OH. He was educated in the Circleville Public Schools in his early years and later years graduated from Columbus East High School in 1963. His career covered a span of 25 years at Delta Airlines, retiring in 2000. After retirement, he began working for Columbus City Schools as a bus driver for eight years. He was a faithful and dedicated member of Tabernacle Baptist Church where he served as Deacon and sang in the Brotherhood Chorus. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, James. Neil leaves to celebrate his life and memory his wife of 48 years, Betty Jo (Toney); daughter, Stephanie Grant Brock; son, Eric (Shanna); four grandchildren: Grant Brock, Mchale, Kamryn and Ericson Grant; sister, Janet Sullivan; five 'brother-likes' and four sisters-in-law, John Clifton; William and Peggy Penn; Robert and Jacqueline Chapman; Ronald and Karen Caliver; and David and Victoria Toney; many nieces, nephews, relatives and many wonderful friends. His celebration of life will be held at Tabernacle Baptist Church located at 2188 Woodward Avenue - Columbus OH 43219 on Monday, October 15, 2018.
