Nellie K Baugh

Nellie K. Baugh, age 93 of Gahanna, went to be with the Lord peacefully at the home of her daughter, Eloise New, Saturday, August 4, 2012. Nellie was born in Charlestown, Indiana and grew up in Jeffersonville, Indiana, daughter of the late Herbert S. and May Harman. She is also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ivan Foster Baugh; brother, Henry Harman; sister, Erma Cairnes; son-in-law, Paul New; and infant son. She was a past member and longtime pianist of McKinney Baptist Church in McKinney, Kentucky, and a current member of Eastpointe Christian Church, Blacklick, Ohio. Nellie was an artist and enjoyed cooking, but most of all, she was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother throughout her life. She was determined, extremely practical, funny yet reserved, and humble. She will be greatly missed by her children, Eloise New and John Baugh; grandchildren, Paula (Richard) Lee, Paul New, Jr., David (Stacy) Baugh, Lori (Paul Johnson) Baugh, and Steven (Ellen) Baugh; great grandchildren, Alyssa and Amanda Lee, Connor Baugh-Mahoney, Abigail and Alivia Baugh, and Nick Davidson; niece, Elaine Riggs; and many other extended family members and dear friends. Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd., Gahanna, Ohio, where family will receive friends from 10 A.M. until time of service. Pastor Chadwick Kellenbarger officiating. Interment Amanda Township Cemetery.
