Nicholas Michael “NicK” Babich, age 69, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, December 6, 2012. He was born in Aliqiuppa, Pennsylvania on May 19, 1943 to the late Nich and Helen (nee Basco) Babich. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and retired from United States Postal Service after 30+ years of dedicated service. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his step-son, James Dague; brother, E.J. Babich; and sister, Betty Babich. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Phyllis Babich; step-son, Louis (Petra) Dague; grandchildren, Amanda Howard and Paul Dague; sisters, Barb (Frank) Lanfried and Helen (Pete) Trobak; and many nieces and nephews. In accordance with Nick’s wishes no services will be held. In lieu of flowers donations in Nick’s memory may be made to Mt. Carmel Hospice, 6150 E. Broad St., Columbus, Ohio 43213.
