Nicholas Harding Burnett

Nick graduated high school in the North Hunterdon class of 1985 and found a passion for zoology at Ohio State University. An avid fan of sports, he could be found regularly at Columbus Crew games, or cheering for the OSU Buckeyes, Miami Dolphins, or Colorado Avalanche from the comfort of home. Nick will be remembered for his sharp sense of humor, his wonderful memory, and his strong opinions on TV, movies, music, and everything else. If you ask those who knew him what Nick considered the best song in the world, they would all give you the same answer. He delighted in playing with his young children, traveling when he was able, and getting a rise out of those he loved.

Nicholas is survived by his three children, Brittany Burnett, Justin Burnett, and Oliver Zulauf, his siblings, Steven Burnett, Beth Lohne, and Kristin O’Dowd, as well as a beloved family of nieces, nephews, cousins, and those not related by blood but conjoined through love.
