Norma Jean Nye

Norma Jean Nye, 82, passed away on November 14, 2019. She was born in Delaware, Ohio on November 23, 1936 to the late George and Helen Ferris. Norma graduated from Rosary High School Class of 1955. She married her loving husband in 1958 and they raised five children together. Norma was an active member of Church of the Resurrection in New Albany, where she was part of the Women's Club and Young at Heart. Besides her religion, her family was her life. She enjoyed her time taking care of her children and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Norma was preceded in death by her husband of 33 years, Robin; her parents; and her son, Gary Nye. She will be missed by her children, Vickie (Tim) Mills, Dan (Kristi) Nye, Eileen (Kevin) Trombley, and Tim (Pam) Nye; grandchildren, Aaron Mills, Amanda Pavolino, Robin and Daniel Nye, Alicia, Michelle, and Julie Nye, Adam and Nick Trombley, Erica Butcher, and Cory and Taylor Nye; great grandchildren, Mason Pavolino, Gavin and Gage Sowash, Caylee Clark, and Ava Butcher; brother, Jack (Betty) Ferris; and many other family members and friends.

Arrangements entrusted to Schoedinger Northeast 1051 E. Johnstown Rd., Gahanna, OH 43230 where a visitation will be held from 4-7pm on Tuesday, November 19, 2019. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30am on Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at Church of the Resurrection, followed by burial at Maplewood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or C.O.P.S. at P.O. Box 3199 Camdenton, MO 65020.
