Norma "Jean" Wright

Norma “Jean” Wright left this world Saturday, February 20, 2010, at the Riverside Methodist Hospital to begin a new journey. She was a devoted member of St. Matthias Catholic Church. Jean was preceded in death by her husband of nearly 50 years, Dick Wright; parents, Frank and Rose Traynor; and sister, Rose Cornwell. She is survived by her daughters, Kathy DeAscentis and Connie DeVore; brother, Dennis Traynor; grandchildren, Jason DeVore and Nikki (Bob) Long; great grandchildren, Cody, Callie, Carissa, and Chloe; many nieces and nephews; lifelong friend, Betty Dennison; and her beloved canine companion, Babs. Jean will be remembered as a devoted mother and grandmother. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, February 23, 2010, at the SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Road. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday at St. Matthias Catholic Church, 1582 Ferris Road, with Fr. James Smith officiating. Entombment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
