

Olga H. Mathias, 90 of Columbus, died peacefully Thursday November 2, 2017 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. She was born July 18, 1927 in Columbus, Ohio to John and Concetta Buzzelli. Olga retired after 28 years with the White Castle Systems. She was a devoted member of St. James the Less Catholic Church for over 60 years where she volunteered in the school cafeteria and sang in the choir. She also volunteered at CAPA Theaters and enjoyed playing Euchre at Whetstone Senior Center and at
Woodward Park. Beside her parents, Olga is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 56 years William, sisters, Levia Crognale and Norma Antonelli. She is survived by her children, Cindy (Bill) Broughman and David (Mary Jo) Mathias; grandchildren, Chris Brown, Mark Mathias, and Valerie Howard; four great grandchildren; sisters, Mary Bernardo and Josephine Gallucci; brother, Gino (Ellen) Buzzelli. Friends may call Tuesday 5-8 pm at the SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Rd. where a prayer service will be held 8:00 pm. A mass of Christian burial will be held 10:30 am Wednesday at ST. JAMES THE LESS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 1652 Oakland Park Avenue Columbus, Ohio. Interment will be at St. Joseph Cemetery.
