Ovida "Reenie" Murray McCracken

Ovida “Reenie” Murray McCracken age 39. A beautiful light dimmed too soon on July 9, 2013. A Gahanna graduate, many would remember her in her various positions within food service in the Columbus community. A loving Mom, Daughter and Granddaughter, she will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her devoted family: daughter McKenzie McCracken; mother and step-father Carmalee and John Kilpatrick; grandparents Robert and Olga Boothe; aunts Dustina (James) Swartzmiller, Imelda Chaney and Evalee (Elbert) Maxwell; many loving cousins, relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her father Ovid Murray; and sister Beverly Murray. Family will receive friends Sunday from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Schoedinger Northeast Chapel, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd. where her Funeral Service will be held Monday at 10:00 am. Graveside service will follow at 1:00 p.m., that afternoon, in Fairview Cemetery in Vinton County.
