I had just found out about Pam. I have been out of the state on business for a few years. I am deeply saddened by the news. The day I found out, I was planning to call my childhood mentor for everything hunter jumper. As it worked out, I stopped by a little pub in Worthington by myself. A young Lady was there talking the hunter jumper language. I stepped in on the conversation. Pam made hunter jumper exciting in my life. After some discussion, this young Lady asked me where I collected my knowledge. I mentioned Pam, and news hit me like a freight truck. Pam was a devoted community member, a leader and mentor to many. I'm sure too many to count. This Man, is always in her debt as Pam will never be forgotten. Seeya on the other side Pam. I'll be looking for you in the Paddock area for the upcoming show sponsored by our King. I'm sure you will be in the center working with students of your craft.

Hello everybody, it´s Graham. It has been awhile but i wanted to thank you for all the kind words. I am doing great now, i am currently in ecuador. I have grown up a lot and changed a lot since my mothers death. Thank you. I love you all. Bye.

Pam was kind, genorous and gracious.  When my wife passed away 5 years ago she reached out to me with friendship and empathy.  We shared many stories about our lives over the last 40 years and laughed about our times together after high school.

Pam was not just a horse lover, she loved all animals including "the boys" Normie and Jasper. But the number one love of her life was Graham.

She will be missed by many for many different reasons and she will be missed by me.

Pam and her sister Debbie were my sister Addie's and my childhood
friends, and were our closest neighbors in Gahanna. Haven't seen either
of them for over 40 years! I remember when the sisters first came over, we 
"met" in our haybarn where they introduced themselves...That was the start
of several years of bike rides in Knoll Ct, tennis, horseback riding, sleepovers.
I've heard about Pam's equestrian excellence over the years & miss contact
with Debbie... always in my heart. So very sad to hear of Pam's passing...

I was sad to hear of Pam's passing. Prayers for the family and especially  for Graham. Your mother was a wonderful person. She helped me ride way back in school. I wasn't able to continue my dream of horses but she was and sheets awesome. She was a sweet and kind person.

Pam trained both me and my daughter Michelle Tomlinson, and she and I often talk about the wonderful fun we enjoyed with Pam during those years--our memories of her will always be a treasure. My deepest condolences to Pam's family, she will be missed and remembered by all of us. Pam taught me to ride bareback, and encouraged me to push my self harder and care for my horse better. She was great athlete and in simple words, a decent lady. I can stil remember more than a decade ago her words to me: "post higher, and and engage the hindquarters!". She will be missed.

We shared a lifetime hobby of showing horses though in a diffrent arena it was always great to see and talk to her at our class reunions about our horses. I am sad to hear of Pam's passing. I knew her as a teenager and how she loved horses then. Her parents, Mary and Bob, were friends of my parents. Bob served on the Gahanna School Bised with my father. Pam had such joy for life. In more recent years, we were reacquainted through class reunions and when I taught Graham in sixth grade. I remember Pam when she was in our Trojan 4-H Club, many, many years ago.  She was always a good example of what a true horseman should be. I am sending thoughts and prayers to Pam's family as they begin to deal with the overwhelming sadness of her untimely death. Special care and concern go to her son who is much too young to loose his mother.
A close friend and I took lessons from Pam in the 1970"s.  She was a natural teacher who helped her students try new things and take risks, with her support and guidance. A highlight was the show she held each year at Greengate. How proud we were to win the ribbons & trophies which Pam had once won herself! Each of us will hold her memory in our hearts forever.

My deepest sympathies to the family, Pam had such a presence about her, and I will miss her dearly. She was so loved by so many people that I will continue to stay close to and help them heal as well as myself.

In the 1960's I fox hunted with Pam's mother, Mary, and nervously entered club shows coached by teenaged Pam, even rode her roan horse, Heather, in one.  I would hack to Rocky Fork from home on Kitzmiller Rd. and later to fixtures from home on Hollow Rd.  When Mary, Bob and Pam were close by at Greengate Farm, I'd see them frequently, would play tennis with Mary and Bob, and when I left Jersey, I gave Pam my jumps - nothing near the quality of what she later had at her beautiful enterprise in its prime.  Wonderful memories and lots of love.

My deepest sympathies to Pam's family.  I worked for Pam way back when she owned Green Gate Farm.  Pam was a beautiful, gracious lady who was very talented.  I loved working there she made it fun.  Pam will be greatly missed.  Again, I'm sorry for your loss.

Thoughts and prayers to Pam's family and friends. Over 40 years of memories are hard to summarize - from competing as juniors on... What a sad loss to all who knew her. She left an indelible impression on many and that is a true legacy. Pam will be missed...

It's hard to know where to start. I met Pam many years ago when I took my daughters to her for riding lessons and through her work with Pony Club. Somewhere along the way I thought that I would give it a try and started taking lessons myself. Pam taught me a lot about horses and occasionally, scared the heck out of me, but I soon realized that she never pushed you beyond what you were capable of doing. Lots of memories, but one that stands out was the time she prepared me for my first Fox Hunt experience.  She put me on an experienced hunt horse and she and I took off through the trails and woods at a pace that kept me hanging on and paying attention. Of course, she was out in front, cruising along, occasionally looking back to make sure I was still there. Like her lessons, the training was much more challenging than the actual event. She was one of those people who leave a lasting impression on your life. I will miss her and extend my sympathies to her family.

One of the first couple of times I met Pam, she was showing me a few things on Vicki Brush's horse. Beautiful horse by the way. Huge horse by the way. :) Anyways, I was on horsey going around in circles. I heard Pam make a sound with her mouth, that I wasn't used to, to make horsey go. I looked at Pam and said, "is this the noise you're making"? :) I proceeded to do it, while talking to her and horsey took off jumped the fence and all. I hung on like never before! :) Then horsey stopped! Pam "Well good job hanging on girl!". She has a sense of humor and such a passion for horses. An amazing rider. An amazing woman! Ohh to be able to have the skills and ride like Pam Graham!

Now and forever to ride, thru golden meadows and fields of flowers.

My favorite memory of Pam is when she began teaching me riding. She said, "Always brush off the saddle marks in the fur so you leave the horse as beautiful as God made it."  This one statement is so reflective of her grace and love.  She was the most graceful woman I will probably ever know.

Graham, Deborah and Marissa, I also feel deepest shock and sadness at your sudden and unexpected loss.  Pam was an inspiration to my daughter and sons as well as myself and a fabulous role model for all of us.  

I will never forget the funniest thing Pam said to me during a riding lesson about 15 years ago... 'People seem to either look great in a bathing suit or on a horse.  Karin, you must look fabulous in a bathing suit!'  I still get a great laugh thinking of that day... And I remain inspired to work hard to improve my riding skills because there doesn't seem to be much hope for me in swimwear!

I think of Pam often and will always remember her with utmost appreciation and respect.
