
Pamela Ann Martin, 69, passed away Thursday January 6, 2022 in Columbus, Ohio. She was born November 8, 1952 at White Cross Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Pam was known throughout the Internet chat world as PamiSu392. She was a 1970 graduate of Grove City High School (Grove City, Ohio) and a 1973 graduate of the Riverside-White Cross School of Nursing in Columbus, Ohio as a Registered Nurse. The majority of her lifelong nursing career, throughout the central Ohio area, was spent in Critical Care, including work in the Delivery Room and Emergency Room and in Emergency Medical Services as a Paramedic. Her later years as a professional RN were spent in Psychiatric Nursing and Nursing Administration where she was able to teach and share her knowledge and life experiences. Pam’s passion was the Internet, and she spent the majority of her free time artistically creating Internet websites. She also enjoyed camping and swimming and playing with her cats and dogs and was an avid OSU Buckeyes fan. Pam is preceded in death by her grandparents George Edward Martin Sr and Emma Virginia Henson Martin of Columbus, Ohio and William Henry Menkel and Hulda Elizabeth Peppel Menkel of Woodsfield (Monroe County) Ohio. Her parents Wayne Stanley Martin and Genevieve Carmen Menkel Martin both of Columbus, Ohio also preceded her as well as numerous aunts and uncles. Survivors include uncle Charles Franklin Menkel of Charlotte, North Carolina, brothers Charles Wayne Martin (Marcia Rose Zbierajewski Martin) of Palm Desert, California and Douglas Stanley Martin (Nancy Louise King) of Burdett, New York. Surviving sisters are Julia Ellen Martin Nair of Columbus, Ohio and Lori Suzanne Martin of Halesowen, England UK. Surviving nieces are Jacquelyn Ruth Nair of Columbus, Ohio and Gwendolyn Elizabeth Martin of Syracuse, New York. Surviving nephews are Charles Raymond Martin (Rosa Corrales Martin and great nephew Charles Jamie Martin) of Indio, California, Paul Wayne Martin of Palm Desert, California and Ian Douglas Martin of Rancho Santa Margarita, California. Numerous cousins, extended family, friends and fellow nurses also survive. Pam’s wishes were for cremation which will be handled by Schoedinger Worthington at 6699 N High Street Worthington, Ohio 43085 with interment in the Whispering Waters Cremation Garden of Kingwood Memorial Park 8230 Columbus Pike Lewis Center, Ohio 43035. No services at this time. Special thanks to Mill Run Care Center Assisted Living where Pam lived for the past three years, Bellacare Hospice for their assistance at Mill Run, Doctors West Hospital ICU and Ohio Health Kobacker House Hospice where Pam spent her final days.
