

Patricia Anne Mary “P.A.M.” Emerson, passed away at her home surrounded by her family on Monday, March 6, 2017. Pam was a devoted wife to Rick Emerson and a loving mother to Tess and Patrick. She was raised in Glenrock, NJ by her parents, John Francis and Mary Lois McCrohan.
Pam was a modern day renaissance woman in that she mastered several diverse career paths and hobbies. Prior to retirement she owned and operated Merle Norman Cosmetic Studios in Dublin and Hilliard Ohio. While raising her family she earned a medical license in electrolysis and set up an office in her home. Pam received a degree in industrial engineering from Princeton University.
After working in that field for period of time, she went to work with Ralph Lauren where she helped launch his first fragrance line. Later she leveraged her relationships with national account sales in the fledgling software industry and healthcare field. She was particularly fond of Joey, “the best dog ever” as they took turns motivating each other to take daily health walks. .
Earlier in life, Pam was a passionate horseback rider participating in the rodeo and later in polo matches. She was also an avid reader beginning early in childhood when she received special permission from the Glenrock NJ librarian to read classic literature well before her they were assigned in high school and college English classes.
Family will receive friends for a celebration of life from 2-5pm Sunday at Schoedinger Chapel, 6699 N. High Street, Worthington, OH. Funeral Service will be held at 10am, Monday, March 13, 2017 at the same location. Interment to follow at Kingwood Memorial Park.
