Patricia "Pat" Atkinson

Patricia “Pat” Atkinson, age 81, of Columbus, passed away on Sunday, April 22, 2012. She was born in Columbus, Ohio on July 12, 1930 to the late Carl Franklin and Margaret Elizabeth (Kilbargar) Hiles. Pat retired from the Jai Lai Restaurant where she worked as a waitress for 27 years. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Jeffrey Atkinson. Pat is survived by her children, Rebecca Thompson, Richard Wheeler, and Laura Atkinson; granddaughters, Patricia Thompson, Amber (Jimmy) Hill, Megan Atkinson, Ashley Atkinson; and Lily Schwarz; great grandson, Matthew Hill; daughter in-law, Sharon Atkinson; brother, Emil (Donna) Hiles; sister, Mary Byers; and many nieces and nephews. Pat will be remembered as a wonderful mother and grandmother. Friends may call on Wednesday, April 25, 2012 from 2:00PM-4:00PM and 6:00PM-8:00PM at the SCHOEDINGER GROVE CITY CHAPEL 3920 Broadway Grove City where the funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 26, 2012 at 10:00AM. Celebrant Andrew Hoover officiating. Entombment will follow at Kingwood Memorial Park, Lewis Center, Ohio.
