Patricia M Otto

Patricia M. Otto, age 71, lost her battle with cancer on Friday, October 1, 2010 at the Zusman House with her children at her side. She was born in Wisconsin Rapids, WI on May 13, 1939. Patricia was a strong and courageous woman, who had a unique way of looking at life. She always put others before herself and loved to surprise her children and grandchildren. She taught herself the art of cake decorating, and over the years made very special cakes for her family and friends. She was a talented woman, with many interests, but nothing ever took the place of spending time with her grandchildren. Her family will truly miss her kind spirit and sense of humor. Patricia was a member of the Eastview United Methodist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, William Otto; parents, Charles and Eileen Brey; and step-brother, Gary Brey. She is survived by her son, Mark (Lori) Otto; daughter, Eileen Otto; grandchildren, Courtney “Co” Otto, Matthew “May May” Otto, and Heather “Baby Cakes” Otto; sister Judy Sarbacker and family of Portage, WI; brother, John (Donnie) Turner of Jacksonville, FL; and special friends, Joe and Dorothy Shumway. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Zusman Community Hospice for making Pat’s final days peaceful.

Friends may call from 5-8pm, Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at the Schoedinger East Chapel, 5360 E. Livingston Ave. where the funeral service will be held at 10:00am, Wednesday, October 6, 2010.
