Patricia F. Sciacca

Patricia F. Sciacca, age 68 of Pickerington, passed away Wednesday, January 26, 2011. Patricia was born and raised in Buckhannon, West Virginia. Preceded in death by her husband, Frank Sciacca, Sr., and mother, Genevieve Morgan. Patricia was a very loving and supportive woman. She was a very spiritual person who had a strong faith in God. Patricia was an active member of Church of the Redeemer United Methodist and played an instrumental role in starting their pre-school program. Very intelligent, Patricia was an avid reader and enjoyed studying all topics. She will be missed by her children, Richard Sciacca, Frank (Linda) Sciacca, Jr., Tony Sciacca, and John (Sara) Davis; numerous grandchildren; several great grandchildren, sister, Susan (David) McCoy; and many other extended family members and dear friends. Funeral services will be held at 10 A.M. Monday, January 31, 2011 at Church of the Redeemer United Methodist Church, 235 McNaughten Rd. Rev. Sue Ellen Miller officiating. Family will receive friends from 2-5 P.M. Sunday at SCHOEDINGER EAST CHAPEL, 5360 E. Livingston Ave. Interment St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Church of the Redeemer United Methodist Church, Patricia Sciacca Scholarship Fund that aides and helps the church’s preschool program.
