Patricia Ann Smith

Patricia Ann Smith, age 73, went into the arms of the Lord on Thursday, April 22, 2021 at Park West Court Apartments. Patricia was born on May 24, 1947 in Columbus, Ohio. She knew how to have a good time. She used her sarcastic humor to make everyone laugh and smile. She truly loved people and socializing. She had friends everywhere she went. One of her "special" friends Larry "Pappy" Pence passed before her in 2018. She enjoyed all her time with her man. She attended the Career Activity and Community center for 10 years and thru that time she loved working in the art room using different mediums including painting, drawing, clay, and even branched out into our camera club for some time. She had several beautiful pieces placed in a traveling show that sold quickly. She also worked in our kitchen doing dishes and assisted in our screen printing studio. Survived by her son, Larry Smith of Denver, CO and his children Elizabeth Smith and her children, Christasia Richardson (18 yrs), DeEryc Smith (10 yrs) all of Dallas, TX and Larry James Smith Jr. of Dallas, TX; daughter, Aretha Louise "Kim" Smith of Columbus, OH; and her children, Latonya Smith and children, La-Shunay Miller (12 yrs); Regina Thomas her son, Omarion Miller (11 yrs), Reginald Thomas Jr. of Columbus, Ohio; brothers, Gary Smith and Ronald Smith; many nieces and nephews; and her Park West Family. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 from 3-5 pm and one hour prior to the funeral service on Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at Heart and Hope Funeral Home by Schoedinger, 3030 W. Broad St., Columbus, Ohio 43204. Due to the current guidelines only 25 people are allowed to be in the visitation room at one time and only 25 people for the funeral service. Patricia's service will be webcast on our website starting at 10:00 am if you are unable to attend the service.
