Patricia was born in Columbus, Ohio, on September 5, 1942, the daughter of Robert S. Forsha and Esther Mae McCully. She was a longtime employee of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), where she worked until her retirement.
Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Swaney II. She is survived by her children, Wendy (Dan) Swaney-Steele and Ralph (Pam) Swaney III; grandchildren, Jasmine Skelton, Amber Swaney-Chhuom, Megan Swaney, and Ryan Swaney; three great-grandchildren. She is further survived by her sister, Susan Jamison; brother, Robert Forsha; sister-in-law, Marla Yauger; as well as other family members and friends.
A visitation will be held from 10am to 11:30am on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at Schoedinger Midtown, 229 E. State St, Columbus 43215, with a funeral service to follow at 11:30am. Interment will follow at Sunset Cemetery.
