Patrick J Brennan

Patrick James Brennan, 68, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, brother-in-law, uncle died October 16, 2014. He was born in Pittsburgh, PA, on July 7, 1946. He lived most of his adult life there, but moved to Columbus in 1992. He served in the Marines and did two tours of duty in Vietnam. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Catherine (Baur) Brennan, brother, David Brennan, and sister, Marie Brennan. He is survived by his wife, Saundra Gaitten Brennan; his children: Amy (Allen) Hofmeister, Shawn Brennan, Daniel Dattolico, Heather Brennan; grandchildren: Michael Romine, Alex Brennan, Jenna Romine, Chase Brennan; sister Kathleen (Robert) Reber, brothers: John Brennan, Paul (Cathy) Brennan; brother-in-law Donald (Marianne) Gaitten, nephew Christopher Gaitten, niece Courtney Gaitten; other nieces, nephews and cousins; many friends, work and volunteer colleagues. He loved his family above all else. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Pat’s name to Injured Marine Semper Fi, the Columbus Zoological Park Association, the Inniswood Garden Society or another charity of your choice. A memorial service will be held in his honor at Kingwood Memorial Park, Lewis Center, OH, on Saturday, October 25, 2014, at 11:30 AM where family will receive friend from 11 AM until the time of service.
