Paul D. Brigner

Paul D. Brigner, age 85, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at Mt. Carmel West Hospital. Paul was born in Portsmouth, Ohio on July 18, 1931 to LeRoy and Anna Mae (McCann) Brigner. Paul served our country proudly in the US Army during the Korean War. He worked 42 years for Columbus Coated Fabrics. Paul loved sports which includes racing, football, basketball, fishing, and The Ohio State University Buckeyes. Paul will be remembered as a family man who took pride in raising his children. Preceded in death by his parents; son, Mark; siblings, Harold, Edwin, Lowell, and Dale. Survived by his children, Carl, Roy, Richard, Robert, Mark, Jeffrey, Tracy, Debbie, Ray Ann, Sherri and Shonda; many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Family will receive visitors from 2-4 and 6-8 pm on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at the HOPE and HEART FUNERAL HOME by SCHOEDINGER, 3030 W. Broad Street, Columbus, Ohio where the funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 with Pastor Dale George officiating.
