

Paul F. Keith, M.D., age 86, passed away Saturday, May 15, 2021. He was born on October 29, 1934 in Flushing, New York. Paul grew up in Fanwood, New Jersey and was a graduate of Scotch Plains High School.
Paul completed his pre-medical studies at Dartmouth College, and was a graduate of New York Medical College in 1960. Following an internship at White Cross Hospital, he began an internal medicine residency at Riverside Methodist Hospital in 1961. He served two years as a United States Army Medical Officer.
After completing his internal medicine residency, in 1966, he joined the practice of Link Murphy Sr. and Robert J. Murphy in Upper Arlington. He was a member of the attending staff at Riverside Methodist Hospital until he retired from internal medicine practice in 2001. He was a clinical assistant professor of internal medicine at The Ohio State University School of Medicine. He also was an assistant Medical Director of First Community Village.
Following his retirement, he was a volunteer at the Upper Arlington Public Library, and was a board member of the Friends of the Upper Arlington Public Library. His memberships included the American College of Physicians, American Medical Association, The Ohio State Medical Association and the Columbus and Franklin County Academy of Medicine.
Paul liked to read, work in the garden and travel, especially to the Netherlands and to New England.
Paul was preceded in death by his father, John Keith; mother, Theodora Keith; son, Gary Keith; and sister, Barbara Astbury. He is survived by his wife Anna Keith; son, Dirk Keith; daughter, Linda Keith; daughter-in-law, Greetje Keith; and, granddaughters, Lauren and Emaline.
