Paul Daniel Miesse

Paul Daniel Miesse, age 66, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, September 28, 2018. He was born on September 8, 1952 in Columbus, Ohio to Ralph D. and Helen (Fraker) Miesse. Paul was a 1971 graduate of West High School. He proudly served our country in the US Air Force. Paul retired as a Computer Programmer from Chase Bank. He was a member of Hilliard Church of Christ where he played the viola and hand bells. He also played his viola in the Cardinal Health Community Orchestra and the Living Christmas Tree. Paul was active in three dance communities and enjoyed gardening, bowling, softball, woodworking, skiing and camped for many years at Hidden Lakes. He had a large Santa and Cherished Teddies collection. Preceded in death by his father, Ralph D. Miesse and brother, Donald Miesse. Survived by his mother, Helen Miesse; son, Paul Michael (Amanda) Miesse; daughter, Karla (Derick) Gillette; grandchildren, Sara, Braylon, Leah, Emma, Anna and Sadie Mae; brothers, Kenneth Miesse and Bernard (Robin) Miesse; sister, Donna (Donald) Gallucci; many nieces, nephews and family friend, Ardie Schirtzinger. Family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 pm on Thursday, October 4, 2018 at HEART AND HOPE FUNERAL HOME by SCHOEDINGER, 3030 W. Broad St., Columbus, Ohio 43204. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 am with a gathering one hour prior from 9-10 am on Friday, October 5, 2018 at Hilliard Church of Christ, 4300 Avery Road, Hilliard, Ohio with Pastor Danny Vanscoy officiating.
