Paul B. Patterson

Paul “Pat” Patterson, born June 26, 1926 to Paul and Lillian in Cambridge Ohio. Died July 9, 2012 while surrounded by his family at St. Ann’s Hospital in Columbus Ohio. Beloved husband of Barbalee for 64 years and brother to Dr. Wallace (Elaine) Depue of Bowling Green. Father to Craig (Nan) Patterson, Tammy (Rick) Nuzum, and Brent Patterson (Diane Gerard). Grandfather to Rachel (Josh) Thompson, Jared Patterson, Tirsa (Josh) Poupart, Micah (Emily) Nuzum, and Seth (Rachel) Nuzum, Great Grandfather to: Jake and Reagan Thompson, Caleb Poupart, Ruthie, Daniel, Lydia and Grace Nuzum. Preceded in death by Diane Patterson (daughter-in-law) and Noah Poupart (great grandson). Decorated WW2 Army Veteran serving in the Philippines with the 33rd Infantry Division. Lifetime resident of Gahanna, Ohio. Founding President of WCVO Christian Radio Station (The River). Long-term Member of Broad Street Christian Church where he served as a CYF Youth Leader with Barbalee. Former member of Full Gospel Businessmen. Throughout his professional career, he held positions with F&R Lazurus, Bachman Adjustment Agency, New York Life Insurance as well as Owner/Operator of Mr. Tree Christmas Tree Farm in Blacklick Ohio. First and foremost, Pat was a follower of Jesus Christ. Friends may celebrate Pat’s life from 2-4pm & 6-8pm on Friday, July 13, 2012 at the SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL, 1051 E. Johnstown RD. (at BEECHER RD) Gahanna, where the Funeral Service will be held at 11am on Saturday, July 14, 2012. Interment will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery with Pastor Rick Nuzum officiating.
