

Paul “Duke” Snyder, age 75, of Columbus, Ohio, was welcomed home to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 9, 2012 at St. Ann’s Hospital. Loving father, grandfather, uncle and friend, Paul was a great man who can most notably be remembered in his later life as a good natured, caring, generous, and Godly man. Paul graduated from Capital University in 1959 and was inducted into the Capital Hall of Fame in 1985 lettering in football and basketball. He kicked the game winning extra point in the 1953 city championship game for Linden McKinley in a 7-6 over West High School. He retired from AT&T after 30 years of service. Born September 21st, 1936 to Clarence Snyder and Lucille Shover. He is survived by brother, Richard Snyder, children, Steve (Sue) Snyder and Susan Cooper, grandchildren, Tessa Cooper and Erica Cooper, nieces, nephews, and friends. Memorial service to be held at 5:00 pm on Tuesday, June, 12, 2012 at the River Community Church, 2419 US Highway 42 N, Delaware, OH 43015.
