Born in Columbus, Ohio to the late Raymond E. and Edna Knapp. Preceded in death by sisters Bertie Lou, Phyllis, Carolyn and Virginia; brothers Donald Knapp and Cecil Knapp, nephews Charles R. "Dick" Garren, Alan Capacciama, Mark Knapp, Joey Capacciama, nieces Diana Cossin and Rhonda Cossin.
A graduate of South High School and a member of the Southside Girls. Paulette retired from Columbus City Schools of which she dedicated 40 years of service and called all the kids over the years, her kids.
During her retirement, she enjoyed lunching with the girls, traveling, gardening, shopping and sitting on her front porch.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory many nieces, nephews, cousins and very good friends.
A Funeral Service will be held on August 29, 2026, at 12:00pm at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Chapel, 5600 East Broad Street, Columbus, OH 43213.
