Pauline A. DeVita, 92, passed away peacefully at her home in Columbus, Ohio on Friday, February 19, 2016. She was born to the late Joseph and Natalina (Pallotta) DeVita on September 2, 1923 in Youngstown, Ohio. Pauline worked for the Ohio Edison for 45 years. She was an active member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel parish in Youngstown before moving to Columbus, Ohio. Pauline is survived by her beloved sister Mary (DeVita) Berasi; her niece Karen M. Berasi of Suffield, Connecticut; Dr. Carl C. (Louise) Berasi III, of Powell, Ohio and Joseph G. (Michelle) Berasi, of Raleigh, North Carolina. She is also survived by her seven great nieces and great nephews and her great-grandnephew and great- grandniece. A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, April 23 at 1:00 pm, at the Basilica of Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Youngstown. The family is requesting that donations in memory of Pauline DeVita be made out to the Basilica of Our Lady of Mount Carmel.
