

Pauline Sue Swinehart, age 68, passed away peacefully on January 17th 2019. She was born October 31, 1950 in Coshocton, Ohio to parents James and Evelyn Toy. She was a 1968 graduate of West High School and a 1972 graduate of Capital University where she majored in music performance and was a Summa Cum Laude recipient. Pauline married Timothy Swinehart on July 15, 1972 in Columbus, Ohio and together they raised two sons. She worked as the head of music ministry and played the organ at both Broad Street United Methodist and Central College Presbyterian. She also ran her private piano studio and accompanied hundreds of artists throughout the state of Ohio. Not only was she an accomplished musician, Pauline also loved to travel, take nature walks, entertain friends and garden. However, the greatest loves of her life were her boys. She had a contagious laugh and a smile that could reach anyone. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend. Simply put, she was beautiful. She is preceded in death by her Parents James and Evelyn, Mother-in-law Wilanna and Husband Tim. She is survived by her sons Shad(Vanessa) and Jason(Amy), grandchildren Jackson and Ellie, Father-in-law James, Brother David(Judy), Brother-in-Law Rick(Jennifer), niece and nephews Erin, Danny (Michelle), Ben (Amanda), Chris and Luke. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Inn at Olentangy Trail and Capital City Hospice for their care and support. Family and friends are invited to celebrate her life at Schoedinger Funeral Home, 6699 North High Street, Worthington, Ohio, 43085 from 5-8pm on Monday January 21, 2019 with a funeral service on Tuesday January 22, 2019 at 10:00 am, also at the funeral home.
