Pauline K. Thompson

Pauline K. Thompson, age 90, passed away Thursday, September 1, 2016 at the Village of Westerville. She was born November 27, 1925 to late Lewis and Clara (Allen) Knox in Columbus, Ohio. Pauline was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be sadly missed by all her family and friends. She was an avid bowler and enjoyed travelling, especially on her senior bus trips across the country. Pauline was lifetime member of Linden Lutheran Church. Animals were dear to her heart, especially all the loving dogs she adopted over her lifetime. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Bill Thompson and sister, Juanita Lambert. Surviving are loving daughters, Cheryl Gabrenya, Jill (Brady) Wagner and Billie Lou (Bob) Sorenson; grandchildren, Jenni (Jim) O'Malley, Paul (Cara) Gabrenya, Jubal Wagner, Amy (Kevin) Brewer, Amanda (Brett) Hamilton and Robyn Sorenson; great-grandsons, Brandon, Bradley and Tyler Gabrenya, Sam O'Malley, Gage and Tony Brewer and Jaret Wagner; great great-granddaughter, Rayne Brewer; special friends, Joanne O'Neil and Gloria Free; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family. A funeral service will be held 7 p.m. Thursday, September 8, 2016 at SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Road, where family will receive friends from 4 p.m. until the time of service at 7 p.m. Rev. Dr. G. Karl Gaston, officiating. Private family entombment at Northlawn Memory Gardens on Friday.
