Perry “Buck” Ellis Jr., 86, of Columbus, passed away suddenly Tuesday, October 27, 2015. He was born July 28, 1929 in Columbus to the late Perry and Gladys Ellis Sr. He was a boiler operator at Rickenbacker and then retired with over 11 years from DCSC. He enjoyed watching WWE. According to Perry, “Old Soldiers never die, they just fade away”. He has 4 brothers and 5 sisters. Perry is preceded in death by Martha his loving wife of 53 years in September 2015. He is survived by children Perry III, Steve, Alicia and Reggie (Judi) Mitchell, 3 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at 1 PM at SCHOEDINGER EAST CHAPEL, 5360 E. Livingston Ave. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
