On the evening of September 25, 2022 Peter Kelly Conti passed away peacefully from cancer at his home in Columbus, Ohio. Peter was born on March 18, 1950 in Petoskey, Michigan, son of Joseph B. Conti, MD and Satie Ann Turcott. He was one of nine children.
Pete was a restless spirit! He had a passion for his family, loved ones, and his country (Veteran). He was a loyal sports fan, through thick and thin. (Detroit Lions, The Tigers and Wolverines).
Pete lived in the fast lane and felt the thrill of his Masarotti. While burning up the roads, he was blasting music (all kinds). Concerts were special to him especially his time at the Bliss Fest where he joined relatives and friends. His special partner, Beth joined him in recent years. Pete's passion for music started at a young age, expanded to his band in the 60's and never went away. He had CD's to the ceiling and memorabilia scattered throughout his home.
Golfing was an ongoing challenge and love. Peter strove to improve his game by switching up his golf clubs, golf balls and of course the tees.
Pete was a generous and loving man. Survived by his children and grandchildren, brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and friends.
Pete will be missed.
A Memorial Service, officiated by Pastor Mark Diemer, Grace of God Church, will be held at Heart and Hope by Schoedinger, 3030 W. Broad Street, Columbus, Ohio on Friday, September 30, 2022 at 2 pm.
