Philip Elliott Adams, age 74, passed away with his wife by his side on Sunday, October 4, 2020 at Grant Medical Center. Philip was born on September 27, 1946 in New Jersey to Elliott and Eleanor Adams. He graduated high school and received his Bachelor's Degree from Heidelberg College. He worked for Dupont as an Accountant and then for 22 years with FST Trucking. Philip loved anything to do with the water. He lived on this boat in Wilmington, NC and was also a certified scuba diver. He enjoyed watching the pelicans, clamming, fishing, and boating. He loved his dogs including his current dog, Sissy III. Preceded in death by his parents; and step-son, Lester Hoffer. Survived by his wife of 28 years, Linda Adams; step-children, Rich Hoffer, Shari Hoffer and Kevin Hoffer; grandchildren, Heston Davis, Boone Davis, Wylan Coffman, Oakley Coffman, Cowan Evans and Julian Hoffer. Per Philip's request there will no service and a private cremation will take place.
