Philip "Phil" Joseph Cuellar

Philip “Phil” Joseph Cuellar, age 51, of Ashville, passed away on Wednesday, June 29, 2011. He was born in Circleville, Ohio on January 13, 1960 to the late Raul and Joan (Cook) Cuellar. As a child Phil earned the Order of the Arrow with the Boy Scouts of America. Phil was a 1978 graduate of Circleville High School and worked for Columbus Waste Water Management. He was a life member of the NRA and a member of CoLug. He enjoyed competitive high power rifle shooting and playing World of Warcraft. He was also a Ham Radio Operator. Survivors include his son, Jared Cuellar; brothers, Ray and Patrick Cuellar; nephews, Matthew Cherry, and K.J. Wood; nieces, Holly Cherry, and Rachel (Daniel) Purdy; and significant other, Corinna Bennett. Phil was preceded in death by his beloved dog, Gus. Friends may call on Monday, July 4, 2011 from 12:00PM-2:00PM at the DEFENBAUGH-WISE-SCHOEDINGER FUNERAL HOME 151 E. Main St. Circleville where the funeral service will be held Tuesday, July 5, 2011 at 10:00AM with visitation one hour prior. Fr. Stephen Krile officiating.
