

Philip L. Kauder, passed away unexpectedly on August 21, 2011 at the age of 66. He was born December 9, 1944 to the late Alban and Dorothy (Jones) Kauder. He was also preceded in death by his brother, David Michael Kauder. He was a U.S. A.F. Veteran having served in Viet Nam. Phil was a former postal carrier with the U.S. Postal Service. He loved to travel, and especially enjoyed the California coast. He was a fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cleveland Browns, but above all, he was proud of his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his sons, John, Charles (Charity) and David (Laura); daughter, Angela Kauder Henschel; grandchildren, Devin, Christopher, Logan, Wynter, John, Brittany, Tim, Xavier, Tristan, Jason, Steven, Sebastian and Roarke; sister, Diane (Lee) Mathews; nieces, Mindy, Wendy and Andi; and other relatives and friends. Graveside service with military honors will be held at Dayton National Cemetery, 4100 W. 3rd St., Dayton, OH 45428 at 2:00pm on Monday, October 17, 2011.
