Phillip was deeply proud of his service to his country as a Navy veteran and member of the Army National Guard. Following his military service, he continued his education at The Ohio State University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Science. He began his career as an electronics technician, specializing in the repair of televisions, a field in which he took great pride.
Above all, Phillip cherished his family. He loved nothing more than spending time with those he loved and creating memories together. He was also a devoted Cleveland Browns and Buckeye football fan, hosting many Gordigate parties at the Bagpipes Inn, their home Scottish pub. Phillip had a passion for golfing and darts as well, and his family will always remember with pride the special day he achieved a hole-in-one.
Phillip was a thoughtful, loving, and caring man who brought warmth and kindness to the lives of those around him. He will be remembered for his generous heart, his love for his family, and the many wonderful memories he created with those he held dear. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.
