Phoebe Kuskowski

Phoebe Ann Kuskowski, age 88 of Lebanon, passed away at her residence on April 28, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She is preceded in death by her husband, William Austin Kuskowski; parents, John and Alpha Haynes; step-children, Greg, Bill, and Paul Kuskowski as well as 2 brothers and 3 sisters.

She is survived by daughters, Teri Ann Anderson, Brenda Kahn and Ronda Chaffin; step-children, Tim (Kelly) Kuskowski and Cindy Paugh as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Ms. Kuskowski was born and raised in Ohio and grew up on a farm. She later moved to Tennessee in 1995 to be closer to her family and to enjoy the country setting and music she loved. She worked for many years as a cashier, most recently at Walmart in Lebanon, where she became familiar to many in the community.

She was known for her gentle and welcoming nature. She had a quiet, soft-spoken way about her, yet carried a sense of humor that kept those around her laughing. She was a friend to everyone she met and was especially known for her kindness and the way she made others feel at ease.

Her faith was an important part of her life, and she remained devoted to God through the Catholic Church. She found joy in simple things such as gardening, baking, canning, antique shopping and playing the guitar. She also had a special love for cats and spent much of her time caring for them.

Ms. Kuskowski was active in her community, volunteering through Compassionate Hands and often preparing meals for those she encountered in her daily life, including workers at the hospital, local shops, and others she came to know. She was always appreciative of kindness shown to her and often returned it with homemade cookies or baked goods.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Phoebe's honor to St. Francis Cabrini Catholic Church (300 S Tarver Ave, Lebanon, TN 37087).

Visitation will be held at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services by Schoedinger North, 5554 Karl Road, Columbus, OH 43229, US, on May 4, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Saint Joseph Cemetery, Chapel, 6440 S High St, Lockbourne, OH 43137, US, on May 5, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.

Graveside Committal will be held at Saint Joseph Cemetery, 6440 S High St, Lockbourne, OH 43137, US, on May 5, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 12:30 pm.
