Phyllis Ellen Caslow

Phyllis Ellen Caslow, age 78, passed away Saturday, January 3, 2015 at her home. She was born March 17, 1936 in Gallipolis, OH to the late Floyd and Bessie (Porter) Gates. She was a 1956 graduate of Linden McKinley High School and involved in church for many years. Phyllis was a member of Columbus Baptist Temple and attended North Park Church of Christ. She enjoyed bingo, crossword puzzles, getting her hair done and Heritage Daycare. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Phyllis is preceded in death by her ex-husband Earl H. Caslow, Sr., and brother Wayne Gates. Surviving are her children, Delana (Les) Pence and Earl (Sue) Caslow, Jr.; grandchildren, Shawn Caslow, Season (Jack "Junior Dingess) Caslow, Stephanie Carpenter, Sam and Shane Pence, Christopher and Matthew Caslow; great-grandchildren, Shawn, Jr., Austin and Collin Caslow; brother Gary (Diane) Gates, FL and many nieces and nephews. She will be sadly missed. Family will receive friends Friday, January 9, 2015 from 6-8 PM at SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Road, where a funeral service will be held Saturday, January 10, 2014 at 10 AM.
