Phyllis Jean Wotring

Phyllis Jean (Kreager) Wotring, formerly of Columbus and Laurelville, went to live with her heavenly father on October 1, 2024 where she joined her husband of 63 years, Robert R. Wotring. Phyllis was residing in South Carolina with her son at the time of her death. Phyllis was born on August 5, 1939 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Harry B. and Charlotte Kreager. Phyllis married Robert Ronald Wotring in 1955 and together they had 3 sons, Robert R. Jr (Pam), Fredrick R. (Delia) and Harry B. (Molly) Wotring. Besides her children, Phyllis is survived by a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a great-grandson. Also, surviving are her nieces and nephews she loved dearly. Preceded in death by her husband, Robert; sister, Pansy; brother, John Paul; 3 nephews and her great-granddaughter, Caroline. Phyllis helped her husband with their business as a bookkeeper, as well as working as a realtor. Phyllis had always followed Christ and volunteered often at her church. Before her passing, Phyllis told her family that she was ready for heaven and would see them there. She will be missed by many. In lieu of flowers, you can donate to your church or local animal shelter in her name. Phyllis fed many strays over the years. A private graveside service will be held at Wesley Chapel Cemetery.
