Priscilla was born on June 4, 1938, to the late Victor and Gertrude Gerber In Dalton, Ohio. In September of 1954, she went on her first date with the love of her life, Don Adams. They were married on February 24, 1957. Together, they shared over seven decades of deep love, partnership, and family devotion. Priscilla was a faithful, longtime member of Riverside Church in Upper Arlington, Ohio. Above all, she was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She loved her family dearly and brought warmth, positivity, laughter, and support to everyone around her.
Priscilla earned her degree from Ohio University and became a stockbroker with Dean Witter and later retired from Nationwide Insurance. In retirement, she found joy in the simple pleasures of life and, most importantly, in the company of those she loved. She cherished spending time with family and friends, reading, playing card games, solving crossword puzzles, cooking, singing, and cleaning and organizing. Her faith was a central pillar of her life, and she took great comfort in her church community. She was an enthusiastic sports fan and rarely missed an opportunity to cheer on her beloved Ohio State Buckeyes and Cleveland Guardians (formerly the Indians).
Pat is survived by her devoted husband, Don Adams; her children, Christopher (Janice) Adams of Elida, Ohio, Robyn (Joseph) Lutz of Blacklick, Ohio, and Rebecca (Dominic) Ciminillo of Columbus, Ohio; her brother-in-law, Bruce Adams; and her sister-in-law, LaFaye Adams and several nieces and nephews.
Her love and legacy will continue through her grandchildren: Drew (Rachel) Adams, Julia (Tony) Moore, Kaitlyn (Matthew) Boothe, Nathan (Rachel) Lutz, Kelsey (Spenser Fenner) Ciminillo, Abigail (Dael) Clark, McKenzy Ciminillo, and Samuel (Erin) Lutz; as well as her great-grandchildren: Eli and Isaac Adams, Jencyn and Natalie Moore, Vincent and Oliver Boothe, Brady and Benson Lutz, and Lily Lutz.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Victor and Gertrude Gerber; her brother and sister-in-law, Homer and Nancy Gerber; her sister, Gretchen (Gerber) Boone; her mother and father-in-law, William and Della Adams; her sister-in-law, LaDeane Knapp and her beloved granddaughter, Sarah Lutz.
Visitation will take place from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, at Riverside Church, 2701 Zollinger Road, Columbus, Ohio 43221. A Celebration of Life service will immediately follow at 12:00 PM.
