Rachel Louise Auer

Rachel L. Auer, passed away at her home, Sunrise at the Scioto. She was born on March 6, 1933 in Owatonna, Minnesota She is survived by her loving children Kimberly L. Auer and Phillip M. Auer; grandchildren Lee P. Auer, Jill E. (Derek) McInerny, Ryan M. and Sean M. Auer; brother Ralph (Roberta) Radant; nieces and nephews; and life-long childhood friend, Laurel Doermann. She is preceded in death by her husband Martin J. Auer; and mother Irma Radant. A devoted Mom and Grandma, she will be remembered for the deep love she provided, and her generosity to all. Fond of animals, she had a canine companion named Charlie. Her devotion and sense of humor will be greatly missed by her family. Family will receive friends on Thursday, December 26, 2013 from 6-8 p.m. at Schoedinger Northwest Chapel, 1740 Zollinger Rd. in Upper Arlington where her Funeral Service will be held, 10:00 a.m., Friday, December 27, 2013. Cremation will follow her services. Her family would like to thank the staff at Sunrise at the Scioto, and Gentiva Hospice for the love and support they showed during Rachel’s care.
