Ralph Edward Davis

Ralph Edward Davis, age 81 passed away Tuesday, May 8, 2012. He was born on June 7, 1930 in Portsmouth, OH to the late Calvin and Sarah Jane Davis. Ralph retired from the State of Ohio as the supervisor of the sales tax unit. He was a devoted family man. Ralph was a voracious reader and a witty conversationalist.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 60 years, Geraldine. He is survived by his 3 children and 12 grandchildren which include, Deborah Davis Johnson and her husband, Jeffrey S. Johnson and their children, Brian, David (Christy), Robert (Cathy), Shane and Andrea, Andrew Davis and his daughter, Rachel, Christopher Davis and his children, Katie, Cody, Daylan, Billy, Hunter and Arianne; great grandson, Asher; sister, Agnes (Jesse) Crowe. A Celebration of Ralph’s life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Ralph’s memory to Willowbrook Christian Home, 55 Lazelle Rd., Columbus, OH. 43235.
