

Ralph Garner, 89, of Grove City, OH, passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at his residence. He was born February 10, 1926 in Blaine, Ohio, son of Clarence and Edith (Keeton) Garner. In addition to his parents, Ralph was preceded in death by his sons, James and Ralph "Marty" Garner and wife, Marilyn (Stone) Garner. He was a graduate of Murray City High School. He served in the US Navy during WWII and the Korean Conflict and was a member of the Honor Flight. Ralph retired from Central Ohio Transit Authority after 24 years of service. He was a faithful member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church for 59 years and the American Legion. Loving family, who will miss him dearly, includes sons and daughters-in-law, Vicki Garner, Matthew (Connie) Garner, Steven (Marian) Garner, David Garner, John (Deneen) Garner and Robert Garner; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; special friend, Mary Linscott; sisters-in-law, Patricia Garner and Paula Stone; brother-in-law William (Shirley) Stone and several nieces and nephews. James Colopy, Celebrant. Graveside service and burial 2:00 p.m. Monday at Greenlawn Cemetery, Nelsonville, OH.
