Ralph Edgar Nafzger

Ralph Edgar Nafzger, 83, of Blacklick, Ohio, passed away Friday, July 9, 2021. He was born in Columbus on April 3, 1938, to the late Neil and Thelma (Titus) Nafzger. Following his time in the United States Air Force, Ralph studied the trade of tool and die and worked at and retired from Worthington Industries.

Ralph was a dedicated and loyal father to his five children. Throughout his life, he enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing, and woodworking. He was skilled in creating his own flies for fly fishing and was a very talented craftsman with wood.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Ronald Nafzger.

He will be remembered by his children, Brenda (Gary) Jewitt, Pamela (Michael) Richards, Scott (Tonya) Nafzger, Duane (Reggie) Morris, and Shawn Nafzger, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Friday, July 23, 2021, at SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST FUNERAL HOME, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd., Gahanna, from 11am until 1pm. Interment will immediately follow at Mifflin Cemetery.
