

A celebration of life service for Randal “Randy” Scot Williams, 48, of Newark, will be held on Thursday, January 7, 2010 at 10:00 AM at the Criss-Schoedinger Funeral Home, 179 Granville St., Newark OH, with Pastor Charles Mason officiating.
Randy passed away at his residence on December 30, 2009. He was born in Columbus, OH on October 4, 1961 to Paul Williams and Arlene Smith Fender. He married Deirdre “Dee” King on June 30, 1987 celebrating over 24 years together.
As described by his family he was; ornery, sarcastic, fun loving, had an off the wall sense of humor. He was musically talented, had a fondness for animals, was involved in ministering to prisoners, president of the Elim coffee house, and enjoyed being a worship leader at his church. In 1991 he obtained his real estate license, and was employed by Phillips and Assoc., Remax, and later, Caldwell Banker. He owned his own company, “Signature Home Improvement” up until his passing. He was a person that if he be friended you, you were his friend for life. Randy led a full life and in the few moments of solitude, he could be found dropping a fishing line off of a pier or beach. He will be missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his wife and parents, Randy is survived by his son Jeffrey M. (Shaina) Williams of Newark; grandson, Aiden Michael Williams of Newark; Brothers, Mike (Kim) Williams of Hilliard, Steve (Carol) Williams of Chicago, Ill., Rick Williams of Columbus; Step brothers, Joe, Pat, and Tim Nourse; half sister Anna (Michael) Fazekas; He is also survived by many other loving nieces nephews aunts uncles relatives and friends. Family and friends may call on Wednesday from 4:00PM to 7:00PM at the funeral home.
