

He is a 1973 graduate of Marion-Franklin High School. After which he enlisted in the United States Navy where he served for 7 years. Randy worked for American Awards for over 25 years and was Founder and CEO of West Columbus Baseball Club (Crossroads Baseball). He enjoyed spending his time giving back to his community and listening to his St. Louis Cardinals. He loved his family and his Dalmatian, Dottie Dal Lawson. Randy had a passion for painting and creating art.
Randy is preceded in death by his parents; and his daughter, Lindsay Lawson.
Randy will be greatly missed by his wife, Cynthia Lawson; children, Leslie Lawson, Anthony Lawson, Scott (Brandie) Haslam, and Marcus Stone; grandchildren, Dustin, Brady, and Quinn Lawson, Heidi May Haslam; siblings, Darryl (Susan) Wharton, Danny (Sharon) Wharton, Bev Echols, Bonnie Young, Ronda Thompson; mother and father-in-law, Cheryl and Darryl Morrison; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday September 27, 2019 at 2pm at Heart and Hope Funeral Home by Schoedinger, 3030 W. Broad St Columbus, Ohio 43204.
