

Randy Scott Williamson (47), of Gahanna, Ohio, passed away June 1st, 2020. He was born on November 28th, 1972 in Columbus, Ohio. He is survived by his children, Kali Capuano and Randy Williamson, Jr.; his parents Earl (Kelly) Williamson and Joann Williamson; his brothers, Jay Williamson and Mike Merritt; sisters, Vickie (Tim) Border and Johna Turner. He is also survived by Jovonna Williamson, many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Randy graduated from Gahanna Lincoln High School in 1991. That same year, he led the Gahanna Lions to victory in baseball and was known as the most valuable player and pitcher. He was also on the Lincoln Varsity Football and Basketball teams. Randy later went to Akron for college to play baseball. He worked for the City of Columbus for 20+ years, doing street maintenance. Randy always cherished time with his family and friends. He coached little league football and always helped any way he could. Randy enjoyed NASCAR, his animals, and was a huge sports fanatic! Randy was a man of faith and accepted Jesus into his life at the altar at Lighthouse Memorial Church a couple of years ago and is now with Jesus! He was always so kind and had the biggest heart of anyone. He always put others before himself. Always positive and laughing no matter what life threw at him. Heaven gained an amazing angel and he will be greatly missed.
