

Raymond Morris Arnold, of Reynoldsburg, Ohio passed away peacefully on July 26, 2015 at the age of 95. He was born in Irwin, Ohio to the late Henry M. and Bertha (Lambert) Arnold. He married the late Mary S. Arnold on July 14, 1945 and together celebrated 68 years of happiness. They met in elementary classrooms as children and rekindled a friendship through correspondence in WWII. Ray used the G.I. Bill to earn his Bachelor of Science and Masters in Educational Administration from The Ohio State University and enjoyed his tenure as a teacher and principal with Lebanon City Schools for 30 years. He was a member of the American Legion Post 0888, the Church of the Redeemer, and The Ohio State University Alumni Association (55 years). Raymond is survived by his daughter, Karen S. Arnold of Reynoldsburg, Ohio; son, James W. Arnold (Sally Digges) of Eastham, Massachusetts; granddaughters, Jesse D. Arnold (Chris Cridler) of Baltimore, Maryland, and Megan A Standing (Patrick L. Standing III) of Sudbury, Massachusetts; great-granddaughters, Eleanor Lee Arnold Cridler of Baltimore, Maryland and Abigail Mary Standing, Virginia S. Standing, and Emma Grace Standing of Sudbury, Massachusetts. He was greatly loved and will be missed, but will forever be in our hearts! Graveside service will be held 11:30 A.M. Saturday, August 1, 2015 at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, 5600 E. Broad St., Columbus, OH 43213. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O.
